  • Consultations always begin with the parents and after an initial assessment may lead to individual care for the child or parent-child sessions.

  • Individual work with a child always includes review consultations with the parents.

  • Parents seek help when their child behaves in a way that disrupts daily life at home or at school. For example:

    • Aggressive or hyperactive behavior

    • Social withdrawal or school absenteeism

    • Concentration problems

    • Opposition

  • For concerns more related to learning, I conduct standardized assessments that indicate their cognitive strengths and weaknesses (WIPPSI-IV and WISC-V).
